Setting Up
We will arrive about 90 minutes before the scheduled start time of your reception, although we are often asked to setup early to avoid disruption to you and your guests, this can be arranged at no extra cost to you.
Wedding Speeches
If you require the use of a microphone for your wedding speeches outside of the agreed contracted hours (i.e. during the afternoon) then a small charge will be made as this requires a member of staff to be onsite at your reception to operate the equipment. Please inform us whether you require this service when making your booking.
We can also provide a portable microphone system for your speeches. This can also be hired separately from the disco. If the disco is also booked then you will benefit from a 50% discount on the cost of the microphone system.
First Dance
Once you are happy that all your evening guests have arrived, the DJ will announce to your guests that the first dance is minutes away and to get their cameras ready. The DJ will then introduce the bride and groom on to the dance floor for their first dance as newlyweds. We then play a second slow dance and invite all your guest to join you.
The rest of the evening will be one huge celebration, the DJ will announce the cutting of the cake and will gather your guests together when the Bride and Groom will be shortly leaving for their honeymoon.
