History of SouthSound
SouthSound Disco was formed in 1993 by Jason when he received a desperate call from a friend after a disco booked for his sisters party failed to show up. This friend knowing that Jason had an extensive knowledge of music and a vast music collection asked him for help. Jason headed off to help and enjoyed the experience so much that he decided that it should not be a one-off gig.
Since that evening SouthSound Disco has improved over the years with experience, advancing technology and with increasing workload has been fortunate to expand in numbers.

Our DJs
Jason
Founder of SouthSound Disco and DJ since 1993.Jason cater for all music genres, occasions and all ages, he loves a fancy dress party and will join in the fun with a costume to fit in and designs and makes amazing props for his themed events.
As well as providing mobile entertainment at 1000s of functions since 1993, his DJ CV also includes working with a range of celebrities, DJ'ed in nightclubs and provided the entertainment for a number of TV show recordings, wrap parties and the warm up / after show DJ for The Jools Holland Hootenanny new years eve show.
Dave
Dave has been a working DJ for 20 years and working for SouthSound for many years now, as with all our DJs he can cater for all functions, friendly and professional.Dave always receives very positive feedback (see our feedback / testimonial page below).
