Unleash the Nostalgia: SouthSound's Retro Parties and Other Events

We specialise in providing for different themed events such as 1980s music themed and 1990s music themed parties. We have many props available to enhance your party as well as images projected on to the dance floor, all props are designed and hand built by us making them unique to SouthSound Disco.

UV / Disc-Glo / Glow in the dark parties are popular during the winter months as darkness is a key factor.

Disc-Glo parties are very popular with many of our regular clients such as local schools and social clubs.

The UV lighting is also used for 80's themed parties and our Halloween functions.

Our large hand painted photo backdrops are available to add to your party. These have been especially made for SouthSound Disco. Measuring 3m (width) x 2m (height) they are large enough for group photos.

Our Halloween parties get more popular and spectacular every year with all the crazy ideas Jason comes up with and his prop builds.

We join in with the fancy dress, our large Halloween props are included (subject to availability), these include:

- Severed head props
- Skeletons
- Glow in the dark UV lighting
- Ghostbusters Trap prop (with laser)
- Large monster hands
- Projected moving images on the dance floor.

We also have our halloween graveyard photo backdrop available for hire.

We are available to hire 7 days a week to help you celebrate Christmas with your friends, family & work colleagues, we guarantee lots of Christmas songs and a great party atmosphere.

It is best to book early for Christmas as we often get booked up 12 months in advance due to repeat bookings from the previous year.

School Proms / School Discos / Leavers Parties & School Fairs - We have many schools on our books so we recommend you reserve your date early.

School discos are hugely discounted because of our "Giving back to the community scheme and we have enhanced DBS".

Very popular at the end of season where many of our regular customers who manage football, swimming, hockey & rugby teams host an award ceremony for their teams and clients.

The evening is planned around the award ceremony, the wireless microphone is available to the person presenting the awards, once all the awards are given out the music is non stop until the end of the evening.
