Jason the DJ did a great job at my 50th that we held at home back in October - it was a brilliant night and he certainly helped make it a special occasion. He did such a good job we hired him again for our daughter's birthday party last week. She really enjoyed it with loads of games and music and nothing was too much trouble to ask for. Jason has all the tunes you can think of and the set up is brill with an excellent sound system and lighting as well as extras, such as large number lights for those celebrating a birthday. We will definitely be using SouthSound Disco again! Thanks a lot Jason!

Huge thank you to Dan for my mums 60th party last weekend! A 70’s themed evening which he played all the best music. My mum had a fantastic time!
We definitely loved the ‘sweet Caroline’ and last song of Mama Mia.
He was so friendly and great.
Dave DJ’d our wedding back in 2016 and now Dan for this. We will definitely be back in future for our next party!

Almost 2 weeks ago and guests that came are still saying how good the Dj was!
He read the crowd well, got our first dances bang on right and went over an above by editing an acoustic track with another for our first dance which came out brilliant! I can't recommend him enough.

I can’t begin to thank you enough for last night, from the set up to the last song you was brilliant. The whole set up was amazing the 90s props and projections and the 30 number lights it looked so good bringing that touch of glam.

Everyone said how good you was and how the music was perfect for the occasion. We loved how you played the music fitting to the costumes you saw. And the songs had everyone of all ages dancing all night long.

From my initial enquiry Jason could not have been more helpful. All arrangements were confirmed in writing and then Dave contacted me personally to discuss my event, as he was the DJ for the evening. Dave did our disco for our 10th wedding anniversary this weekend. He was so friendly and made sure to listen to what sort of music we wanted. After contacting numerous discos, without any of them replying, I was giving up hope, until I found South Sound,
From the moment I spoke to Jason, I knew how professional he was.
We booked Dan for our Christmas party and what a night he gave us.
He contacted me the week before our function, to ask if we had any requests?
I gave him a short list of songs we wanted and gave him free rein to choose what he felt would work for the guests.
I would recommend South Sound without hesitation and would like to thank Dan for the hard work he put in, nothing was to much trouble and he was happy to work around our plans.

Five star DJ!!! We used south sound for our wedding reception and by the end of the night every single guest was singing their praises (not to mention a round of applause). We had Jason DJ for us and could not fault him. Building up to the big day he came to ours for a consultation on the music choices and to meet us. We had an old family favourite played at my request which Jason researched for me and he stuck to everything agreed. Nothing was to much to ask and could not recommend highly enough! 18th (Disney themed) Birthday Party (17th April 2016)

We found SouthSound via Jason's very impressive website, and throughout our dealings with Jason, pre-party, found him to be very professional and accommodating.

He spoke extensively with us before the event to establish exactly what music preferences we would like, and on the day, had prepared a list of all the disney characters as they arrived to ensure that he played a Disney signature tune for each of our guests. In addition, he joined in the fun by dressing up too!

Throughout my party, Jason maintained the party atmosphere, keeping everybody up and dancing for the entire 4 hours, and was happy to take requests.
We have no hesitation in recommending Jason and SouthSound, and would definitely use them again. Thank you again for a great party!

Anyone not sure whether to book SOUTHSOUND DISCO. let me put your minds at rest.

From start to finish Jason was superb and professional. We had our celebration at the Bridgewood Manor hotel in Walderslade woods, and part of their criteria were insurances, for everything from equipment failure, safety installations, public liability etc etc. No problem. Jason has them all, he even physically went to the hotel himself long before our function to show his certificates..

He was more than happy to accommodate us and he kept us well informed all throughout our months of planning. We had quite a varied list of requirements personal to us and not a usual part of a DJ's song list, again no problem for SOUTHSOUND !! If he didn't have it he got it. Even the most obscure. He had everything on our song list and more. We were so impressed with his ability to read the crowd and adjust accordingly so the dance floor was never empty (probably due to over twenty years experience).

I wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend SOUTHSOUND again. All of our guests were thoroughly entertained without exception. (age range 1 to 96) he had something for everyone. So good luck with your function give SOUTHSOUND a call and relax and feel confident that they will do "what they say on the tin"

Jason was absolutely fantastic, and so accommodating with every request asked of him during the evening - and there were loads! I had an 'all things Disney' theme and he even went above and beyond by dressing up as a Storm trooper (now owned by Disney!) which totally and utterly made my children's day! The mix of music was perfect and everybody got up and danced for most of the evening - which is most important during a party!! Excellent value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking not only for a good value disco, but for someone who goes that extra mile to make sure your event goes off perfectly. The treacherous weather on the day of the party was no problem for you and making the perilous journey through ice and snow highlighted just how dedicated you were to our event and your level of professionalism.
